Jewish Federation invites you to attend a screening of 'October 8th', a documentary film about the explosion of antisemitism on college campuses, in social media, and on the streets since October 7th, 2023, following Hamas’ violent attack in Israel. Following the film, we will host a brief panel discussion featuring Jewish students and professionals who are battling the surge of antisemitism on campuses across British Columbia.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a bring-an-ally event to raise awareness—beyond our Jewish community—about the impact of antisemitism on our youth and our community. The film is rated 14A in BC and we consider this event most appropriate for audiences 16 years+.
Tickets: $20 - if you bring two or more non-Jewish friends, they both come free and the three of you get popcorn and pop on the house!

Proceeds from ticket sales will be allocated to Jewish Federation’s Combatting Antisemitism Fund.
